Richard JORDAN moved from North Carolina to Preble County, Gratis Township in the late 1820's and left in middle 1830's for Carroll County, IN with Henry E. JORDAN and Seth BURRIS. I need a death date on his wife, maybe Sarah, and I think that he might have come to Preble County and died about 1845. I need information on the JORDAN family in Gratis Township including Joe R. JORDAN and Juliann FLORA.
I am reseaching MCCOMB/MCCOMBS family in SC. It came to my attention recently that many families from Abbeville Co SC came to Preble Co OH. These families seemed to have came from Cedar Springs, Lower Long Cane and Hopewell Presbyterian Churches. Would be interested in information concerning a Hopewell Church/cemetery in Preble. Would be interested in WEEMS, WHITE, or THOMPSON familes that named their children after George MCCOMB in early 1800's that might have come to Preble.

I am looking for information on John MCFADDEN. He lived in Preble Co., OH, as early as 1835. He was from Virginia, probably Augusta Co. I have several old letters written to him from 1835 to 1844. James BENNETT, b June 2, 1816, York Co., PA, married Adeline Augusta ADAMS, 1836, at Oxford, Butler Co., OH. They had 5 sons and l daughter: Daughter was Sophia M. BENNETT, m. to Benjamin Franklin ANTRIM; James was sworn in as Mayor of West Elkton, Preble Co., OH April 9, l866. It is also written that the BENNETTs had a nursery in Butler County. This little information is all that Ihave on this family. If anyone can fill in the names of the sons or the parents of James it sure would be welcomed and appreciated.

His father died there in 1841 after a visit. Seek any and all DROLLINGER descendants. Frederick DROLLINGER descendants from Haw River, NC, here in 1820. Gabriel went on to LaPorte Co., IN, Elias to Roan County, IN, others went where? Barbara, Elias, and Polly all here 1826. William DROLLINGER estate in 1825. Interested in all DROLLINGER descendants. Searching birth info on the following CRAWFORD siblings, all children of Samuel and Elizabeth LOY CRAWFORD: Sarah b. Sept. 1823; William b. 1827; David b. 1829; Mary b. 1830; Jacob b. 1832; Lucinda b. 1833; Green B.
